I've been running every day for the last couple of weeks rather than 3 days a week. I'm running every day because I think I eat better (and less) if I know I'm running the next morning. My left hip flexor is much improved and there are no pain issues to deal with while running. My legs get a little stiff later in the day after morning runs and my Baker cysts might be a limiting factor for future mileage increases because they seem to swell in proportion to the time spent running. I am hoping this will change if I ever lose any weight. I am still 189 pounds so it's like I'm running with a 40 pound pack on - amazing I can run at all. Today's run was 15 minutes at about 12:00/mile with the last 20 seconds at 9:00/mile. My heart rate averaged 123. I'm surprisingly content with a workout like that but know I could be a "real" runner again if I lost 40 pounds.
