Coming Soon! I will attempt to run again
January 1st will be 6 months since I got my new hip joint. The surgeon told me not to try running for at least 6 months. He also said that I should not run "much". Hmm. It's all about the pounding, I guess. I'll worry later about how to define "much". I probably shouldn't run at all unless I lose some weight, but that's easier said than done. The Pepsi & burrito diet isn't working so far. At any rate, you may commence snickering now. The guffaws will ensue on January 1.

Go barefoot - that way your feet will act like fuses for your hips. If you can run light enough to keep your feet from hurting, it's light enough for your hips too.
I shall run only on rice paper, Master.
No, grasshopper, you must run over the rice paper.
Add some M&M's to that diet and you're good to go.
