Race report: Good on You 5k

I ran a 5K this morning on a flat paved course.  I figured I might be ready to run faster than 8 minutes per mile for a 5K on a flat paved course.  I ran the first mile in 8 minutes but then started slowing down a little.  Apparently I don't have much stamina after a few years of no running.  My legs start feeling heavy after a while and it's hard to keep them moving at the same pace.  I ended up running 8:15 pace for most of the race.  Oh well, I got a "fast" workout compared to my regular runs.

Mr Solution here:

Just RACE all of your training and the real races HAVE GOT to get faster... my logic is infallible!
