Missing San Diego resident Herb Kimpel, 61 was found safe today, bewildered but apparently unharmed. He was located in a running shoe store on Lake Murray Boulevard after a half-hearted thirty minute search of the area between his home and Rosarito's Taco Shop. The operators of the Movin' Shoes store in La Mesa said they spotted Kimpel wandering the area and inexplicably decided to offer him a job. He accepted, and now they're not sure how they're going to get rid of him. Kimpel was reported to be recovering at home with large amounts of baked goods.
