I've been doing swimming workouts since the Grand Canyon hike, but no hiking or running due to my crummy hip. I'm scheduled for hip resurfacing (titanium ball and socket) on July 2. I don't yet know what to expect recovery-wise, but I might have to skip the Coronado 5k on July 4. The left side of the diagram shows what Dr. Janciewicz is going to install in my right hip. Hip surgery scheduled for July 2
I've been doing swimming workouts since the Grand Canyon hike, but no hiking or running due to my crummy hip. I'm scheduled for hip resurfacing (titanium ball and socket) on July 2. I don't yet know what to expect recovery-wise, but I might have to skip the Coronado 5k on July 4. The left side of the diagram shows what Dr. Janciewicz is going to install in my right hip. Sorry I missed this earlier. What kinda doorknob you havin' installed? If'n it was me I'd have some Bob wire wrapt round it cuz you don't wont no strangers touchin that sucker.
