Attempting to run again

Until today, I haven't run in almost 2 years. I got a new left hip on October 27 and today I ran a total of about one minute during a 5 mile hike. Tomorrow I'll find out what hurts, if anything and then I'll hopefully try running a little more in a couple of days. I'm planning on only running uphill to reduce impact until I lose some more weight - I'm currently 173 pounds.

Ah yes, how familiar. Another start. I do those all the time. Recently, I myself had another start. My new rule/strategy. Run only when I feel like it. This makes for very infrequent forays into an activity that used to occupy much of my life. I see from this post that the virus is still infecting you as well. Though we have labored mightily to eradicate this running habit, I fear we may always be subject to relapse.
